TIME (Class – 11)

We continued to watch the rest of the movies and noted down important points relating to plot, narration, script, characters, metaphors, themes, costumes, set design, etc.

Following are the points that I noted while watching Looter and Howrah Bridge:

  • Costume and props were good (it suited the period they tried to show).
  • I like how they portrayed the social background of the era.
  • Everything explained in the lyrics of songs.
  • Characters justified the story well
  • The title was well suited

I made a mindmap for both of the movies

TIME (Class – 12)

Today we were briefed about our final project. We had to make an interactive model which had elements from all the seven movies of our era.

We thought of several ideas. Some of the ideas were:

We thought of making an interactive game, a zoetrope, an interactive board signifying the sets and metaphors from all the movie.

TIME (Class – 09)

My group got the chit with 7 movies of the time period between 1951 – 1965.

The movies are:

  • Mughal E Azam (1960)
  • Howrah Bridge (1958)
  • Naya  Daur (1957)
  • Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi (1958)
  • Chemmeen (1965)
  • Lootera (2013)

SUSTAINABILITY SYSTEMS (Class – 13)

The fifth session was all about having fun with wall painting and showing everything they have learned in the past sessions through art!

The children along with the three of us painted the walls of the classroom.

It was a very fun session and everyone enjoyed.

SUSTAINABILITY SYSTEMS (Class – 12)

In the fourth session, we showed them some videos related to the three Rs, i.e., Recycle, Reuse and Reduce in order for them to have a better understanding. They also learned about how the Dairy Industry contributes majorly to Global Warming.

We then made them do some fun activities followed by a fun question-answer round.

The third session was conducted was with the students of grade five. This time we taught them about upcycling and gave them a hands-on experience. We distributed small boxes of buttermilk to them. After they had finished drinking the buttermilk, we made them upcycle the used buttermilk boxes into a pen stand.

SUSTAINABILITY SYSTEMS (Class – 10)

In the second session, we taught them about the segregation of waste. We told them the difference between dry waste and wet waste and how both have separate dustbins.

We then asked them to draw anything about waste management on sheets which were further used to decorate the dustbin for their class.
