Todays class was so much fun. In the first half we explored the photoshop tools in a more detailed manner. We then edited a picture of our choice and honestly it was so interesting browsing through the tools.
I loved using the pen tool and the spot healing tool. It was so much fun learning how to change the background of the picture. I love getting clicked and so learning how to use some of the basic editing tools was so informative and helpful.
I edited one my own pictures and tony surprise it turned out pretty cool.

In the second half we learnt about the Gestalt theory and principles. We also watched a presentation on the same and how the gestalt principles are applied in the work that we do i.e., editing, imaging etc.
We were briefed about certain parameters like Proximity (he state of being near in space or time), Closure (an act or process of closing something, making it real), Similarity (a similar feature or aspect, the state or fact of being similar) followed by a couple more parameters. It was so informative learning how a theory constructed by psychologists is being applied in creative subject.
