OBJECTS AS HISTORY (Class – 12)

Today’s class was dedicated to the Renaissance period.

The Renaissance period originated in Florence, Italy, started from the 14th century and comes to an end by the 17th century. It is a period which is considered to be a bridge between the Middle Ages and Modern history.

Well known for European economic, political, artistic and cultural rebirth which promoted the rediscovery of philosophy, literature, and art. It is an era when art and architectural design returned to the Classical ideas of ancient Greece and Rome.
