TIME (Class – 07)

In today’s class, I showed ma’am my final movie for Time and asked for her opinions and last minute changes of any. We were briefed on what to submit in the next class for the 8th-week submissions.

ARTIST STATEMENT

As the title of the movie suggests, period, the movie is trying to capture the entire life of a rock, a magma, it’s trying to show all the necessary events in the life of a rock.

While the movie seems very direct, it’s actually trying to show the irony of time through the visage of the water.

It’s trying to show that how time provides one the flexibility to manoeuver and be their best version but as soon as one does the mistake of thinking that they have outgrown time, time snaps and well, time is up…

TIME (Class – 06)

We kept working on our Time project and asked ma’am for inputs. I showed ma’am my movie and ma’am then suggested some changes as to how I can improve.

TIME (Class – 05)

Today we were informed that now we have to create a movie showcasing our narrative using the shortlisted pictures. We were allowed to use non-copyright videos and pictures from the sites given by our faculty. After clearing our basic doubts we went ahead searching for the videos and browsing sites in order to find the videos and pictures that would fit in with our narrative. We were given the flexibility to alter our narratives as per our shortlisted pictures.

SUSTAINABILITY SYSTEMS (Class – 06)

In today’s class, we created our final survey as a group. Here are some of the questions from our survey:

  1. What are your dietary habits?
  2. Do you consume milk products?
  3. How many people does your household consist of?
  4. What is the kind of packaging used for your milk?
  5. Do you reuse the packaging?
  6. Do you think that the Dairy Industry is a contributing factor in global warming?

etc…

We then went out and asked the general public. We received around 300 responses.

This helped us get a better knowledge of the situation and know the intensity of the awareness of the issue. We then started creating infographics to depict our survey results.

IMAGING II (Class – 05)

Today, we had a peer review. All of us showed our assignments, layouts and sample booklet which were then reviewed by everyone. This exercise helped me choose my final layout for the Seminar booklet

Following are some of the pages from my sample booklet on Gods:

I then traced out my final layout and started working on the final booklet.

In today’s class, we did a little peer review for our chapters, we were put up in groups of seven and we read out our chapters to each other. This exercise helped us get inputs on our work, which was pretty helpful. I then discussed my doubts and chapters with ma’am and took her inputs.

We were then told that we are allowed to make typographies for our chapters.

STUDIO

We finalized our Dream city from our six cities. We then showed ma’am the three illustrations for the final city. After this, we started working on our tunnel box, first, we were told to choose one of the illustrations and divide it into various layers and further trace the six layers on different tracing sheets.

We then made a prototype for our tunnel box.
